科克连接

New 学生s who begin at Coker in the fall semester and take classes on-campus during the day will complete 科克连接 in two parts – the Virtual Course and the Overnight Event.

The Virtual Course will introduce you to academic expectations and provide an overview of campus resources. The Overnight Event will allow you to meet incoming classmates, make connections with faculty, take a deeper dive into campus resources, and give you the opportunity to take care of any business items prior to fall check-in ensuring a smooth transition to Coker prior to check-in in August.

• Complete the virtual online course.  You can access the course by logging into your Brightspace account 在这里 & 选择 虚拟焦化连接 Courses.  The online course will open May 8, 2023. You will receive an email with instructions on how to access the course.  Please note that this course is self-paced and you do not have to complete it in one sitting. You are able to log-in and out as needed.
• Register for an overnight 科克连接 event.  You have three dates to choose from and can access the registration form 在这里. Registration will open Wednesday, March 1, 2023.  日期是: 
  • Option 1: Sunday, June 25, 2023 – Monday, June 26, 2023  -名额有限! Register before the event fills up. 
  • Option 2: Sunday, July 16, 2023 – Monday, July 17, 2023 
  • Option 3: Monday, July 24, 2023 (one day)

The Virtual Course is an online course that walks you through what to expect academically and connects you to campus resources. Additionally, it will review the steps to take to get registered for classes.  The Spring 在线 科克连接 event allows 学生s to meet incoming classmates, make connections with faculty, and take a deeper dive into campus resources.

Please note that this course is self-paced and you do not have to complete it in one sitting. You are able to log-in and out as needed. The online course for Spring 2023 学生s will be available in early December.
